Trueno and Milo J brought the 2026 Latin Alternative Music Conference to a close with a packed free concert at Central Park’s SummerStage in New York.
During the August 1 event, the two Argentine artists delivered separate sets built around rap, hip-hop, and sounds connected to their home country. Dominican rapper J Noa opened the show, setting the tone for an evening focused on a younger generation of Latin music performers.
Trueno and Milo J later appeared together for Pumas, giving the audience one of the concert’s main collaborative moments. Their performances reflected the growing international reach of Argentine urban music while keeping distinct elements of local identity in the sound.
The closing concert followed several days of performances, panels, and industry conversations during LAMC 2026. Other moments included discussions about the continued expansion of Spanish-language music and a performance by Mariangela featuring songs associated with Selena and Los Tigres del Norte.
The SummerStage finale ended the conference with a large public celebration of Latin music in the heart of Manhattan.
